Hoy quiero dejar que las imágenes de estos edificios, alterados en su esencia, hablen por sí solas. Estos días camino por San Bernardino varias veces a la semana porque voy a la Clínica La Arboleda a recibir fisioterapia en el hombro derecho. El comercio ha deconstruído las fachadas de las casas y los edificios. Sin embargo, el núcleo cálido de su arquitectura de los años cincuenta y sesenta se mantiene viva, escondida, latente: imagen de la Caracas modernista que sobrevive en el caos del presente.

Today I want to let the images of these buildings, altered in their essence, speak for themselves. These days, I walk through San Bernardino several times a week because I go to the Arboleda Clinict to receive physiotherapy for my right shoulder. Commercial sites have deconstructed the facades of the houses and buildings. However, the warm nucleus of its architecture of the fifties and sixties is kept alive, hidden, latent: the image of a modernist Caracas survives in the chaos of the present.
