Desde la ventana

Desde la ventana los edificios toman el espacio, lo separan, lo deforman a plena voluntad, permiten diversas realidades. Todas las sensaciones, mientras mis brazos limpian los cristales, se entretienen con el rasgo que persiste en cada sección de mirada, las calles buscan entrar en la altura, descansarse en patios y planos que remarcan el jardín central. Las repeticiones, rectángulos, cuadrados, no ceden a esa constancia y tienden a confundirme cuando cierro los vidrios levemente, alguna figura desde su ventana hace lo mismo, las luces de neón evitan encontrarnos. Asombra el claro trayecto de los peatones en alguna prolongación de fondo, como rompimiento de mi soledad. Recojo las paralelas, retengo el vacío de este cuarto, perplejo ante autobuses y carros que cambian el penúltimo plano, recortándolo. Todo ruego por escapar al otro lado de la celosía es fallido. En la altura de esta visión, agoto la ventana, las rendijas se conjuran infranqueables y resisten dentro de mí.

From the window

From the window the buildings take up space, separate it, deform it at will, allow various realities. All sensations, while my arms clean the windows, are entertained with the trait that persists at each section of the view, the streets try to enter into the height, rest in courtyards and planes that highlight the center garden. Repetitions, rectangles, squares, do not yield to this steadfastness and tend to confuse me when I close the windows slightly, some figure from her window does the same, the neon lights prevent our encounter. The clear pedestrian path amazes as it extends in the background, breaking my solitude. I pick up parallels, retain the emptiness of this room, perplexed by buses and cars that change the penultimate level, cutting it. All plead to escape beyond the venetian blinds  is a failure. At the height of this view, the window ends, the slits conspire impassably and resist within me.
