¿Quién es esta sangre, estos tendones, estos ojos, esta extrañeza, esta antigüedad?

Una fuerza

me tiene en su mano.

Entonces es ella

la que puede decir soy,

la que puede llevar un nombre,

la que puede usar la palabra yo.

if I can speak in the name of anyone.

Who's is this blood, these tendons, these eyes, this strangeness, this antiquity?

A force

holds me in its hand.

So it is that

who can say am,

who can have a name,

who can use the word I.
