EL TODO QUE NADA
Aquí tenemos todo:
cigarrillos que fumar,
licores que beber,
mujeres, jardín, sauna, piscina.
Aquí tenemos todo, compañero,
encerrados en vidrios,
velos, cortinas y aire acondicionado.
Aquí todo está cerrado
y no podemos dejar la puerta abierta
porque el aire se sale;
y no sé estar afuera,
y tampoco estar adentro.
Y no puedo entrar y estar tranquilo
y ni siquiera salir para entrar
o entrar y salir.
Estamos sellados por dentro
y uno está afuera
y otro adentro.
¿Y cómo llamarte compañero
si siempre ha sido así la vida?

Here we have everything:
cigarettes to smoke,
liqueurs to drink,
women, garden, sauna, swimming pool.
Here we have everything, partner,
enclosed in glass,
veils, curtains and air conditioning.
Everything here is enclosed
and we can't leave the door open
because the air slips out;
and I don't know how to be outside,
nor how to be inside.
And I can't go in and be calm
and neither go out to go back in
or go in and out.
We are sealed inside
and one is outside
and the other inside.
And how to call you partner
if life has always been this way?
