Donde la luz me encarna
I
El tiempo
que me encuentra de frente
es el mundo dejado
a mis espaldas.
Como la muerte engendra
lo que precede al poema
y lo que seguirá siendo
vida ya escrita
leo en el presente
con la frente y la espalda.

Un rostro
responde
a todos los nombres
guardando
siempre
su silencio.

I
Time
that finds me directly
is the world left
behind my back.
As death engenders
what precedes the poem
and what will remain being
life already written
I read in the present
with the forehead and back.
II
A face
answers back
to all the names
reserving
always
its silence.
