 Oración

Todos los días riegas las plantas,

haces los espacios de sol,

exterminas las plagas

que pintan las hojas con sus larvas,

conduces la enredadera,

hierves el agua para el té,

eres la ordenadora de la luz

y la que ordena

y desordena

mis horas nocturnas:

tú le das medida y desmedida,

tú eres ancha y aprietas.

Prayer

Every day you water the plants,

you create spaces for the sun,

you exterminate pests

that paint the leaves with their larvae,

you steer the vine,

boil the water for the tea,

you are the light arranger

and the one that organices

and messes up

my night hours:

you give it dimension and disproportion,

you are wide and you nestle in.
