 EN EL FILO del ojo
fulguran los sueños
La percepción se pierde
titubea
Eso que ve ¿es real?
¿se encuentra allí?
En los grandes ventanales
donde hay solo el reflejo de un anuncio
la mente figura una bahía
¿Y qué es lo real?
¿Dónde está la substancia?
El anuncio se pierde
y la bahía emerge esplendorosa
con sus barcos anclados–
manchas de espátula
en un ojo cubista

 IN THE EDGE of the eye

dreams shine

Perception is lost

it hesitates

What you see is real?

Is it there?

In the large window

where there is only the reflection of an advertisement

the mind imagines a bay

And what is real?

Where is the substance?

The sign disappears

and the bay emerges splendid

with its anchored boats-

spatula streaks

in a cubist eye
