Como tras los mullidos ves tres gatos

a su trisagio erótico ceñidos,

saltar por los tejados, aguerridos

como otros d'Artagnan, Porthos y Athos,

pasas a depender, no de insensatos

pensamientos ajenos repetidos

ni de tu larga deuda de descuidos

sino del paso de estos gatos gratos.

El primero te quita de lo humano

sin llevarte por eso a lo divino;

el segundo te anima la sonrisa;

con el tercero, piensas, de la mano,

más cabal, de la cola del felino:

¿a qué, no siendo humanos, tanta prisa?

more accurately, from the feline's tail:
