en la Bienal del papel Lo Uno y Lo Diverso

 

  

Estoy participando en la I Bienal Lo Uno y Lo Diverso con este libro-objeto. Este salón es una confrontación de arte sobre papel que está desde el 21 de Febrero hasta el 4 de Abril, 2010, en la Galería Universitaria Braulio Salazar en Valencia, Edo. Carabobo, Venezuela. Ha sido interesante para mí observar desde el registro fotográfico la cualidad perfomática de mi trabajo. Se le pide al observador del libro-objeto ponerse unos guantes blancos y en su propio tiempo hojear/ojear el cuaderno. Me maravilla ver la meticulosidad y tranquilidad de las personas en ese momento de intimidad que se permiten con mi obra. Paul Klee decía: " Un diario, en efecto, no es un producto artístico, sino un producto del tiempo." Aquí la obra le propone tiempo al espectador, pausa, experiencia presente.

I am participating in the First Biennial The One and The Diverse with a book-object. This collective show is a confrontation of art on paper that is  on from February 21 to April 4, 2010, at the University Gallery Braulio Salazar in Valencia, Carabobo State, Venezuela. It has been interesting for me to see from the photographic registry, the performatic quality of my work. It is suggested to the observer to put the white gloves on and in his/her own time browse through the book. It has been wonderful  to observe the meticulous and quiet attitude of the person in that intimate moment they allow themselves with the work. Paul Klee said: "A diary, in fact, is not an artistic product, but a product of time." This work offers the viewer time, pause and an experience in the present.
