las consecuencias de la comodidad

He estado recibiendo algunos comentarios y reacciones en respuesta a mi performance "!Qué Comodidad!" del 16 de Septiembre en el Centro Cultural Chacao. Mi reflexión posterior ha sido "¿habrá tenido sentido mi performance?" Y he aquí la reacción de Erika Ordosgoitti, artista plástico y exalumna del Armando Reverón:

Gracias por compartirnos tu reflexión, estoy de acuerdo, la crítica es autocrítica, todos queremos la papa pelada... todos queremos lo fácil... es decir, todos somos mediocres y delinquimos, parece ser parte de nuestra idiosincrasia, parece estar en nuestros genes. Algo curioso es que decimos rechazarla pero nos cuesta rechazarla. Todos hemos querido que nos pasen la materia sin entregar la tarea, sin hacer la tarea... y eso es lo que nos tiene como estamos. La mentira también es una comodidad, fingir que no nos damos cuenta de que todos fingimos... a veces me harto y hago arte para redimirme de ese destino
y digo las cosas que realmente pienso y a veces la gente se escandaliza o dice escandalizarse, no sé... o sí sé, pero me es más cómodo decir que no sé...

Te voy a pedir la bendición porque es la palabra más bonita que me enseñaron cuando era chiquita

I have been getting some comments and reactions in response to my performance! "How Comfortable!" presented September 16 at the Centro Cultural Chacao. My thoughts since then have been "Is there sense in my performance?" And here is the reaction from Erika Ordosgoitti, artist and former pupil of Armando Reverón:

    Thank you for sharing your reflection, I agree, the criticism is self-criticism, we all want the potato, peeled ... we all want the easy way out ... that is to say, we are all mediocre and delinquent, seems to be part of our idiosyncrasy, seems to be in our genes. Something curious is that we reject this but it costs us to reject it. We all wanted to pass the subjects in school without turning in the homework, without doing the homework ... and that is why we are where  we are. Lying is also comfortable, pretending not to know that we all pretend ... this makes me sick and sometimes I make art to redeem myself from this fate and I say things as I really think them and sometimes I know that people are shocked or scandalized, or they say they are, I do not know ... or I do know, but it is more convenient to say that I do not know ...

    I'm going to ask you for a blessing because it is the most beautiful word I was taught when I was little
