luna llena Diciembre 28:: full moon December 28

Ya estamos en la última Luna Llena del año 2012, y cae en el signo de Cáncer, el primer signo de agua del zodíaco y símbolo de la Gran Madre y el mito de Eleusis.  Cáncer, representa entre otras cosas, el tema de la madre y la hija, la búsqueda de la eterna separación entre estas dos caras de la misma moneda. Una vez más nos encontramos con el tema de la separación dentro de un contexto tradicional. ¿Cómo separarnos de eso que nos da forma y nos contiene? ¿Cómo liberarnos de aquello que necesitamos para tener algún tipo de orden en nuestras vidas? ¿Como nos separamos o nos independizamos de aquello por lo que trabajamos tan duramente por mantener? ¿Quién ganará, la fuerza de la independencia o el sistema? ¿Cómo separarnos de Madre? Quizás la respuesta esté un poco en el medio. Sólo luchamos por independizarnos de aquello que creemos diferente a nosotros y quizás la historia va por comprender que todos somos UNO, y que simplemente podemos operar independientemente de aquello de lo que formamos parte. Complementándonos, pero sin ser absorbido por la otra parte que parece querer gobernarnos. Todos respetando la importancia de que existan las dos partes para la máxima realización del todo. Ya sean las dos partes: Madre-Hija, Republicanos-Demócratas, Profesores-Estudiantes, Jefes-Empleados, etc. Sólo tenemos esta ilusión de lo separado, para aprender más rápido, las diferentes posibilidades humanas. Todos nos enriquecemos de todos. Todos tenemos algo importante y único que aportar. TODOS somos INDISPENSABLES, y aún así, NADIE lo es.

We have arrived to the last full moon of 2012, and it falls in the sign of Cancer, the first water sign of the zodiac and symbol of the Great Mother and the myth of Eleusis. Cancer represents among other things, the issue of the mother and daughter, the quest for eternal separation between these two sides of the same coin. Again we find the theme of separation within a traditional context. How to separate from that which gives form and contains us? How to get rid of what we need to have some order in our lives? How do we separate or become independent from that for which we work so hard to maintain? Which will win, the strength of freedom or the system? How to separate from Mother? Perhaps the answer is a bit in the middle. We struggle to become independent of that we think different from us and maybe the story is about understanding that we are all one, and that simply we can operate independently of that of which we are part of. Complementing ourselves, but not being absorbed by the other part that seems to govern us. All respecting the importance of having both sides for maximum realization of everything. Whether there are two parts: Mother-Daughter, Republican-Democrats, Teachers-Students, Directors-Employees, etc. We only have this illusion of the separate, to learn  faster, different human possibilities. We all enrich each other. We all have something important and unique to contribute. We are all indispensable, and yet nobody is.
