Oración a San Benito

Santísimo confesor del Señor; Padre y jefe de los monjes, interceda por nuestra santidad, por nuestra salud del cuerpo, alma y mente. 

Destierra de nuestra vida, de nuestra casa,  las acechanzas del maligno espíritu. Líbranos de funestas herejías, de malas lenguas y hechicerías. 

Pídele al Señor, remedie nuestras necesidades espirituales y corporales. Pídele también por el progreso de nuestra Santa Iglesia Católica; y porque mi ama no muera en pecado mortal, para que así confiada en Tu poderosa intercesión, pueda algún día en el cielo, cantar las eternas alabanzas.

Blessed confessor of the Lord, Father and Head of the monks, intervene in our holiness, in our health of mind, body and soul. 

Banish from our life, our home, the wiles of the evil spirit. Free us from dire heresy of witchcraft and gossips.

Ask the Lord to correct our spiritual and body needs. Ask also for the progress of the holy Catholic Church; and that my soul not die in mortal sin and that I can rely on your powerful intercession so that I may someday in heaven sing eternal praises.
