El argumento

Por la mañana

leemos anestesiados

las noticias de la guerra (cualquier guerra),

un titular

bien merece algunos combates;

cada bando

desea  demostrar que Dios

está de su parte

con el argumento definitivo;

nuestros ojos recorren 

las páginas

- buscamos más confirmaciones

de nuestra derrota

y el periódico trae lo que esperamos encontrar.

 The argument

In the morning

we read, numb

the news of the war (any war);

a headline

deserves a few battles;

each faction

wants to show the God

is on their side

with the conclusive argument;

our eyes travel

over the pages

- we look for further confirmation

of our defeat

and the newspaper brings what we expect to find.
