The moon fills up completely tomorrow, November 2. Tonight All Saints' Day jumps into the Day of the Dead. I tie the words I used yesterday to the words of today, continue the ritual to my ancestors and open up to the prayers for the saints that are also with me. In my old age I have turned to prayer and give my health moments of quiet daily meditation. I pray to my ancestors, to the orishas and to the saints; in the end God is one, the Great Spirit, and art my spiritual path. I intervene the images off my camera and turn them them into digital drawings. They make up this diary that I publish now as part of my daily discipline. My personal madness is the embroidery of my circumstances; with virtual threads I trap the soul that sustains this body of mine. Today I applaud the art of others: Yuri Liscano's Los Desplazamientos, Adrián Pujol's La Noche, Starsky Brines's las Invasiones en el Espacio and Maruja Herrera's Amor-des-Amor. Today they have been food, energy and welcomed freshness.
