del agua a la piel del papel

 Estas imágenes son las huellas de las manchas de agua entintada sobre la piel de este papel de arroz chino.  Las busco porque marcan el límite entre la investigación visual del agua y la piel en las que estoy metida estos días. La piel cubre y contiene el cuerpo y el alma. La piel conecta el mundo interior y el mundo exterior. La piel constituye y construye la textura de todas las cosas; a través de ella respiramos, percibimos, sentimos, nos expresamos. En estas huellas de agua sobre papel, la piel se manifiesta, se materializa y se hace geografía.

These images are the traces of ink-water stains on the skin of Chinese rice paper. I look for them because they mark the boundary between the visual investigation on water and the skin I am involved in these days. The skin covers and holds the body and soul. The skin connects the inner and the outer world. The skin constitutes and constructs the texture of all things; through her we breathe, perceive, feel, express ourselves. In these traces of water on paper, the skin manifests, materializes and becomes geography.
