Entre mis imágenes fotográficas y mis dibujos hay unas estructuras hermanadas en la manera como están construídas. Esto me sorprende mucho al revisar los archivos porque son imágenes trabajadas en momentos distintos y que sin embargo guardan entre sí relaciones visuales muy abstractas y concretas a la vez. ¿Es una manera de mirar?¿Es una manera de organizar, de componer en ese espacio que es el rectángulo del papel o el marco de la cámara? Las imágenes juegan conmigo, me hacen trampa cuando precisamente creo que juego con ellas. Me desconciertan. No sé bien qué pensar. La intuición me hace trampa.

Between my photographic images and my drawings there are matching structures in the way they are built. When reviewing the files, this surprises me a lot because they are images worked at different times and yet they establish abstract and concrete visual relationships at the same time. Is it a way of looking? Is it a way to organize, to compose in the rectangular space of the paper or the frame of the camera? The images play with me, cheat on me precisely when I think I am playing with them. I am baffled. I am not sure what to think. The intuition, the gut feeling swindles me.
