El arte sensibiliza, trastoca valores, confronta y ofrece nuevas miradas y puntos de vista. El artista con sus obras convoca experiencias sensibles en los que observan. El rol del arte y el artista en el contexto social actual es provocar reflexiones e intervenir los espacios cotidianos naturales. El arte contemporáneo y los creadores activan los espacios e irrumpen en la memoria colectiva. A lo mejor sus efectos no son duraderos pues mucho de este arte es efímero, corre en el tiempo, desaparece, marca, hace huella y a la larga es inmaterial. Pero siempre algo queda si se toca el alma de la gente y si el artista es tocado por la misma experiencia. No hay neutralidad posible en los aspectos emocionales y sensible del ser humano.

Art creates awareness, upsets values, confronts and offers new perspectives and points of views. The artist with her work calls for sensory experiences in the observers. The role of art and the artist in contemporary society is to evoke thought and intervene natural everyday spaces. Contemporary art and creators activate spaces and burst into the collective memory. Maybe its effects are not lasting as much of this art is ephemeral, runs in time, disappears, marks, leaves a trace and ultimately is immaterial. But something always remains ifyou touch the soul of the people and if the artist is touched by the same experience. There is no possible neutrality in the emotional and sensible aspects of the human being.
