lo espiritual en el arte

Desempolvo unos dibujos de hace un tiempo porque estoy trazando el cambio de la presencia de figuras en mis composiciones y como fueron desapareciendo sutilmente o mas bien dándole la entrada a las abstracciones en los fondos: fondo haciendo figura como se considera en la terapia gestalt. Hoy sigo celebrando el envío que me hicieron mis amigos de SF, California, de más documento visual y sonoro de la celebración en el 1974 del mural Paco's Tacos del grupo de las Mujeres Muralistas. En este pedazo nuevo aparezco no solo pintando sino que cuando Michael Nolan, el periodista, se me acerca a hacerme unas preguntas, yo le respondo. Sigue mi sorpresa al verme a mi misma y me maravillo que todo esto llegue justo cuando estoy en pleno proceso de reflexión sobre la metafísica de mi creación. A estas alturas de mi vida le doy la bienvenida a mi proceso de creación con la certeza de que es mi espiritualidad hablando la que se desata en las imágenes. Lo espiritual en el arte me interesa, hoy.

I select drawings from some time ago because I am tracing the change of the presence of figures in my compositions as they have been  disappearing or rather subtly giving entry to the abstractions in the backgrounds: background coming forth as figure as they say in gestalt therapy. Today I am still celebrating the gift sent by my friends from SF, California, as more visual and audio documentation of the celebration in 1974 of the Paco's Tacos  Mural by our group Mujeres Muralistas. In this new footage I appear not only painting but when Michael Nolan, the reporter, approached me asking me some questions, I answer.  I am still surprised to see myself and  amazed that all this comes just when I am in the process of reflection on the metaphysics of my creation. At this point in my life, I welcome my creation process with the certainty that my spirituality talking is unleashed in the images. The spiritual in art is what interests me today.
