¿qué significa habitar poéticamente la tierra?

El poeta alemán Holderlin dice que el hombre siempre habita poéticamente la tierra. Este es un tema que a mí me interesa muchísimo. ¿Qué significa habitar poéticamente la tierra? No es política, no es cultura, no es organización social en el sentido habitual. Es la calidad propia de lo que Holderlin llama habitar poéticamente la tierra. Yo tampoco tengo la respuesta, es como un enigma, tengo el tema como un desafío. Quizás se trata de reencontrarse con algo que los animales tienen muy bien, reencontrar algo de nuestra animalidad, o de nuestro propio estado no sólo animal, sino vegetal, mineral, etc. Tiene mucho que ver con este tema que nos preocupa ahora tanto de medio ambiente, ecología, respeto a la naturaleza, de los equilibrios fundamentales, que es habitar el planeta. ¿Cómo podemos compartir la tierra con tantos y tantos seres vivos? Y cada vez más. Aquí no entra el discurso, no entra la narración verbal o no verbal. Aquí entra el cuerpo, el cuerpo del otro, los árboles, el cuerpo de la casa, del edificio, el cuerpo de la ciudad, el cuerpo de la tierra, etc. ¿Cómo podemos reencontrarnos con estos principios de equilibrio ya bastante perdidos?

Este es el tema de la presencia poética, de la poesía pasando por comunicación verbal o no verbal. Para mí no se trata de decir que la comunicación verbal implica mentiras, trampas, engaño etc. y que en la comunicaión no verbal todo está muy bien, todo es justo y auténtico. Sino que, dejando un poco al lado los proyectos comprometidos dentro de la comunicación verbal, intentar reconectarnos con algo mucho más simple pero también complejo que es la calidad de estar presentes aquí y ahora como seres. No como seres humanos, sino como seres, punto. La materia también es un ser.

The German poet Holderlin says that man always inhabits the Earth poetically. I find this subject very interesting. What does poetically inhabiting the Earth mean? It is not politics, or culture, or social organization in the usual sense. It is the quality in itself of what Holderlin refers to as poetically inhabiting the Earth. I don't have the answers either; it's like a riddle, a challenging subject. Perhaps it's about rediscovering something that animals are very good at, rediscovering the animal in us, or our vegetable or mineral state, etc. It has a lot to do with a subject that is on everyone's mind nowadays- environmentalism, ecology, respect for nature, respect for fundamental balance, etc., which is part of how we inhabit our planet. How can we share this limited space which is the earth with so many other living beings? This is not about discourse or verbal or nonverbal narration. This is about the body, the others body, trees, the building's body, the city's body, the earth's body, etc. How can we rediscover ourselves when the principles of balance are already so lost?

This is the subject of poetic presence, of poetry free from verbal and nonverbal communication. I'm not saying that verbal communication implies lies, trickery, deceit, etc., and that everything that has to do with nonverbal communication is fine and dandy, right and authentic. It's about placing those projects committed to verbal communication a bit aside and trying to reconnect to something simpler, but also complex, which is the quality of being present in the here and now as beings. Not as human beings, but simply as beings. Matter is also a being.
