 Attitude

My elders have taught me that anything we do, speak, think, or make is our creation. When we make something with our own hands, whether it is a meal, a drawing, a sculpture, a plan, a written story, a fence, a toy, or a song, the attitude we have at the time we create those things will show forever.

A song may sound happy, but if it is written while the person is too busy, it won't flow for the listener. If a meal is thrown together, the love isn't there and the food will not be nourishing. If people are angry or resentful when they build a fence, the job may be filled with problems and the fence may hinder friendships with neighbors. Every attitude is invested into our creations. If one fears that the things they have made to sell will not be appreciated, that fear will keep the clients away. 

If we change our attitudes and create everything from joy, the happiness allows our creations to touch the lives of others. The missions of our creations are then unhindered, bringing bounty, beauty, and good feelings to all concerned.

Mis mayores me han enseñado que cualquier cosa que hagamos, hablemos, pensemos, o construyamos es nuestra creación. Cuando hacemos algo con nuestras propias manos, así se trate de una comida, un dibujo, una escultura, un plan, una historia escrita, una valla, un juguete, o una canción, la actitud que tenemos en el momento que creamos esas cosas se ve siempre en el resultado.

Una canción puede parecer feliz, pero si está escrita mientras la persona está demasiado ocupada, no fluirá para el oyente. Si una comida se hace rapidamente, el amor no está presente y la comida no será nutritiva. Si la persona está enojada o resentida cuando construye una cerca, la obra va a estar llena de problemas y la cerca puede dificultar la amistad con los vecinos. La actitud que tengamos, la invertimos en nuestras creaciones. Si se teme que las cosas que se hayan hecho para vender no sean apreciadas, ese miedo alejará a los clientes.

Si cambiamos nuestras actitudes y creamos desde la alegría, la felicidad permite que nuestras creaciones toquen las vidas de los demás. La misión de nuestra creación fluirá sin obstáculos, trayendo prosperidad, belleza, y buenos sentimientos a todos los involucrados.
