Walk in truth

How do you destroy a righteous person? Give him or her one follower!

This ancient Cherokee saying is truth in its purest form. The Clan Mother of the Eleventh Moon Cycle, Walks Tall Woman, teaches us that we must lead through example rather than asking others to follow us. 

The way of the Indians Ancestors are perfectly clear, applying the truth to today, just as they did many hundreds of moons ago. Sacred Law is not made by human beings. To follow the rules that are made by humans can led to a crooked trail. Long ago, no Indian would ever question another person's connection to the Creator or that person's visions or dreams. All human beings were, and are, responsible for their connection to Spirit. When we ask for, and are given, guidance and direction by the Great Mystery, it is our responsibility to follow the truth being presented to our hearts. We know that truth by the serenity it brings and the gratitude we feel.

Este antiguo dicho Cherokee es la verdad en su forma más pura. La Madre del Clan del Onceavo Ciclo de la Luna, Walks Tall Woman, nos enseña que debemos conducirnos con el ejemplo en lugar de pedir que otros nos sigan.

Las costumbres de los Ancestros Indios son perfectamente claras, aplicando la verdad al día de hoy, tal como lo hicieron hace cientos de lunas. La Ley Sagrada no está hecha por seres humanos. Seguir las reglas hechas por los seres humanos puede llevar a un camino torcido. Desde siempre, ningún Indio cuestiona la conexión con el Creador o las visiones de otra persona o sus sueños. Todos los seres humanos han sido, y son, responsables por su conexión con el Gran Espíritu. Cuando pedimos, y recibimos, la orientación y dirección al Gran Misterio, es nuestra responsabilidad seguir la verdad que se presenta a nuestros corazones. Conocemos esa verdad por la serenidad que nos llega y la gratitud que sentimos.
