What a sweet pillow
of being and not being asleep
when it rains at dawn.
Soft haze of sleep
touching the senses:
freshness of the grass under the water.
I do not know if I am still in childhood,
because I hear sounds of long ago
and see flowers that have not grown again.
In the distance the nests must be getting wet
under the sliding of the drop,
and there will be lost songs of birds.
I do not know if I am in the world:
I walk among stalactites
which previously I only dreamed.
The butterflies of the forest do not move yet,
and while the children sleep
in the early morning it rains.
