con el dorso de la mano
Con el dorso de la mano
Hay mucha gente pronta
para el siguiente paso:
para tirar de una ventanilla
o de la puerta de un tren.
El poeta
se queda inmóvil
bombardeado constantemente
y a veces
responde
abriendo de para en par una puerta invisible
cuando camina por la calle
o borrando
con el dorso de la mano
sobre la ventanilla
las líneas de su propio rostro.

With the back of the hand
There are many people ready
for the following step:
to pull a window
or the door of a train.
The poet
remains stationary
constantly bombarded
and sometimes
responds
opening up completely an invisible door
when walking down the street
or deleting
with the back of the hand
on the window
the lines of her own face.
