EXCURSIÓN

Como cierre de actividades de la programación expositiva del presente año, presentamos en el Espacio de Arte del Hotel Altamira Suites "Excursión", exposición colectiva conformada por Consuelo Méndez y Jorge Luis Santos (fotografía y pintura) que destaca la observación sensible de la naturaleza y el trópico venezolano haciendo énfasis en la mirada interpretativa de la naturaleza, aquella que nos bordea desde la urbe caraqueña, aquella otra que identifica la exhuberancia de nuestro Río Orinoco. Fotografías que por momentos tocan el espacio de lo pictórico a través de la luz y los elementos naturales del paisaje, de la exuberancia de la naturaleza, en la obra de Santos. Pinturas que se adhieren a la piel fotográfica destacando texturas y colores que profundizan en el recurso de los medios mixtos, en la de Méndez.
Miradas que desde el acto creativo nos permite internarnos al territorio geográfico de las emociones del ser y de la percepción artística. Excursión para celebrar el viaje por el arte y por el escenario del diálogo y el intercambio social y cultural.

As part of the end of the year activities of the Art Space of the Altamira Suites Hotel, we present "Excursion," a group exhibition composed by Consuelo Mendez and Jorge Luis Santos (photography and painting) which highlights the sensitive observation of the Venezuelan tropical nature with emphasis on the sensitive observation of the nature that surrounds the city of Caracas and that other that identifies the exuberance of our River Orinoco. Photographs which at moments touch pictorial space through light and the natural elements of the landscape, the exuberance of nature in the work of Santos. Paints that adhere to the skin of photographs highlighting texture and color that delve into the use of mixed media, in the work by Mendez.
Views which from the creative act, allow us to go into the geographical territory of the emotions of self and artistic perception. An excursion, a journey, to celebrate art and the stage of dialogue and of social and cultural exchange.
