STATE OF EXILE

There is a string of emancipated verbs.

Everything is mine. The foul smelling and the lightweight.
I kneaded it all, I bit it all, I cradled it all.

Inaccuracies are mine,
the mud unabated,
the threads of blood that coagulate the home.

Whatever strips away is mine,
sap of one greedy evening,
crumbling bones in the womb.

I take the minutiae to disgust, to the exile of myself.

The losses will not pull evil away,
they will not make me generous or timely.

If I go I will carry everything,
I will assemble fear in another port,
dirty myself for new hope.
