Queridos complices instalativos, trás pensar y hablar con Lorena González sobre el Taller de Instalación hemos decidido dar un giro que espero sea interesante para todos. El día lunes, 23 de Julio, llegaré a eso de las 10 am al Centro Cultural Chacao; si alguno quiere acompañarme en la misión será bienvenido. Me permitirán entrar al depósito dónde escogeré diferentes materiales para realizar instalaciones. Ya le dí una avistada ayer y tiene cosas interesantes, como señales, marcos y maderas de todo tipo... entre otras maravillas. Los materiales serán dejados en nuestro espacio y el día martes a las 10 am si están de acuerdo empezaremos a trabajar el lugar. La idea es producir a la manera del ejercicio de la hoja blanca dialogando con el sitio pero con materiales encontrados en los depósitos y reusados para instalar, también pueden traer materiales que resuenen con su trabajo o con los que deseen experimentar en el espacio... creo que el proceso debe ser un tanto más colectivo, pero decidiremos las dinámicas y las reglas de juego juntos. Creo que lo mejor es decidir lugares y problemáticas del espacio con las que puedan dialogar o reaccionar. 

Hablando de los proyectos, sigue en pie lo de enviarme hasta el domingo una suerte de esbozo o sketch de su proyecto, por favor piensen en que probablemente otros lo veran y es necesario que sea interesante como boceto. Yo trabajaré individualmente según las necesidades con cada uno de ustedes con los proyectos individuales cuando estemos trabajando.

Tienen completo acceso al centro cultural, así que aquellos que deseen trabajar durante la semana en las reacciones espaciales pueden hacerlo con confianza.

Dear installation accomplices, after thinking and talking to Lorena González about the Installation Workshop we decided to take a turn that I hope will be interesting for everyone. On Monday, July 23, I will arrive at about 10 am to the Chacao Cultural Center; if anyone wishes to come in the mission he/she would be welcome. I will be allowed to enter the warehouse deposit where I will choose different materials to construct our installation. I already looked through it yesterday and it has interesting things, such as signs, frames and wood of all kinds ... among other wonders. The materials will be left at our space and on Tuesday at 10 am and if you agree we can start to work there. The idea is to produce, in the manner of exercise of the white sheet, a dialogue with the site but with materials found in the deposit and reuse them in the installation; you can also bring materials that resonate with your work or those you wish to experiment with in space ... I think the process should be a bit more collective, but we will decide the dynamics and the rules of the game together. I think it is best to decide places and problems of space with which you want to dialogue or react to.

Speaking of projects, you have until Sunday to send me a sort of draft or sketch of your project, please take into account that probably others will see it and it should be interesting as a sketch. I will work individually as needed with each of you with your own projects when we work in the space.
 

We will have full access to the cultural center, so those who wish to work during the week in the reactions to the space can do so with confidence.
