IMPERMANENCIAS:: Eduard Antonio Díaz

           Del 27 al 28 de Julio, 2012, Eduard Antonio Díaz (Caracas, 1985) muestra sus IMPERMANENCIAS en El Apartaco, Caracas. El trabajo dibujístico de Eduard no se aparta de su praxis como artista gráfico, siendo esta disciplina la que define su trabajo creador. Pero de igual forma, logra desprenderse de las categorías al llevar a sus últimas consecuencias la técnica, en una casi compulsiva acumulación de capas superpuestas de tinta, característica esta que lo hace bordear un limbo entre la pintura y la gráfica. En consecuencia esta acción lo ha llevado a una progresiva saturación y simplificación de algunas de sus formas, acentuando el magma de la materia que le sirve de medio para hacer visible lo invisible y, muy particularmente en los trabajos que forman parte de ésta, su segunda muestra individual, donde aparte de un casi culto al soporte en papel, reflexiona sobre la naturaleza de los elementos y su transitoriedad física, al usar papeles poco nobles, contraponiéndolos a la pureza del papel de algodón.

         La efímera relación de la materia, conjuntamente con estos soportes de papel, lo han inducido a llevar sus obras a un espacio tan informal como perecedero en su materialidad física, EL APARTACO, donde muestra su serie de dibujos, a carbón "impermanencias", manteniendo la levedad del motivo representado como constante de su trabajo gráfico y, a la vez, como puente comunicante entre su obra dibujística.

From 27 to 28 July 2012, Eduard Antonio Díaz (Caracas, 1985) shows his IMPERMANENCIAS in The Apartaco, Caracas. Eduard's drawings do not separate from his practice as a graphic artist, being this discipline the one that defines his creative work. Likewise, he is able to step over categories by taking the technique to the extremes in an almost compulsive accumulation of layers of ink, a feature that places him in a limbo between painting and graphics. Therefore, this action has led him to a progressive saturation and simplification of some of his forms, emphasizing the magma of matter that makes the invisible, visible and, particularly in the work of this second solo exhibit, which apart from a cult toward paper, he reflects on the nature of the elements and physical transience, by using less noble papers, contrasting them against the purity of cotton paper.

          The ephemeral relationship of matter, together with these paper supports, have led him to bring his works to a space as informal as perishable in its physical materiality, THE APARTACO, where he shows his series of drawings, carbon "impermanence", keeping the lightness of the subject represented constant in his artwork and, in turn, as a communicating bridge between his drawings.
