Or the visions

that hold at razorpoint

the feathers of a bird

goes blue. Each sleep-

ness framed, behind,

by this whine

of insects. So a shutter,

lifted, offers

to looking

the very oracular

interior of that

openness into which bird

inserts itself. Its song

shortening when

there is wind. Comes

the visible and 

its remainder, a

blur, what? Tittering

at lower and lower

luminance. That the

accompaniment might be

sufficiently responsive.

Testigo 

O la visión sostenida
en el blanco
las plumas de un ave
se vuelve azul. Cada falta

de sueño enmarcada, por detrás,
por este gemido
de insectos. Así un obturador,
levantado, ofrece
para mirar
el mismo interior
oracular de esa
apertura en la cual el pájaro
se inserta en si mismo. Su canción
se acorta cuando
hay viento. Se acerca
lo visible y
lo que queda, algo
desenfocado, ¿qué? Nerviosismo
en menor y menor
luminosidad. Que el
acompañamiento fuese
suficientemente accesible.
