Pienso en los indios y en los barcos de vela

Y miro el ramo de magnolias

Que cae en el agua de la cascada.

Una balada tan nostálgica que ya no tiene significado

Se escucha en la otra orilla.

Veo, danzando entre las hojas verdes y la hoguera,

Al antiguo guerrero.

Libre de riesgo, como en colina de recreo.

Cuando el Océano es infranqueable,

Cuando la limitación humana es grande, y corremos en busca

de perdices, maíz y el somnoliento fósforo como la lluvia,

vuelvo a hablarle al antiguo guerrero.

El huésped invisible, adornado con bellas plumas.

me detiene en el umbral de su casa,

Con un gesto

Ciego 

de amor.

I do not want to inflate with words.

I think about indians and sailboats

And look at the bouquet of magnolias

That falls into the waterfall.

A ballad so nostalgic that has no meaning

Ii is heard on the other side.

I see, dancing among the green leaves and the fire,

The ancient warrior.

Risk free, like on a recreational hill.

When the ocean is impassable,

When human limitation is large, and we run in search of

partridge, corn and sleepy phosphorus as the rain,

I talk to the old warrior once again.

The unseen guest, decorated with beautiful feathers.

stops me in the doorway of his house,

With a gesture

blind

of love.
