otra lluvia::another rain

 Otra lluvia

Quienes a nuestra vuelta hacían café

 Another rain

Let it rain on the terrace,
it'll never be like before.
Let the gray sheets descend
and glaze your eyelids,
soak the shirt you wore as a child.
Puddles always remain in the mind,
crossing over is hard
without soiling your shoes.

They who made coffee and dried us
when we came in, their eyes
hold the flood of rain now.
Days dressed in green stains
flow in spouts from the roof
but nothing we expected appears.
Outside in the uproar
a voice comes no one comprehends.
