"My daughter Fabiana, the oldest, told us that she wanted to study abroad, she graduated last year and it's been two years since I last saw her and I feel terrible and I'm not comfortable seeing her through Skype because I come from a family where we hug, kiss, touch, we share meal times, we call each other, it's a way of growing up and that has crumbled and time and modernity have changed us so much. Perhaps it is foolish of me not to be able to adapt to these new gadgets that let us see each other like Skype, but I can't get used to talking to her this way, in two years I haven't kissed or hugged her and she does not understand my position.
