Birds

I hear the birds outside,
others, not those of yesterday that we already lost,
new innocent whistles.
And no I don't know if they are birds,
if someone I am not still hears them
in half a life below the sun from the earth.
Perhaps it is the desire to retain their wild voice
in the middle of the season
before they go away from the trees.

Someone I have been or who I am, I don't know,
hears or remembers,
if there is something real in me it is them,
more than myself, more than the sun outside,
if it is musical the force that makes the world go round,
there has never been anything but birds,
the song of birds,
which brings us and takes us away.
