a las puertas de tu vida hay una casa sola::at the gates of your life there is a house alone

At the gates of your life there is a house alone. Between your image and the horizon, eagle on the shoulder of not a single sentinel, she is allowed to stand. Unruly sometimes to your love, she transcends the created, flower and water. She rectifies, points out through multiple paths your present day from yesterday. She digs the mad bite of scar and dust. You open a gap in the fog to play inside, without great offenses, the pulp of your fleece. You turn straight into her flanks and walls, travel through quiet corridors with a gold ring belonging to the dream. Who wants to fly upstairs to make a link of time with real space, who shelters and does not banish the angel in your temple in the great morning, under the weight and deaf rumble of your real and invisible house?PoetryMonte Ávila Editores LatinoamericanaCaracas, Venezuela (1992)
