El generalísimo moja con fruición panecillos
en su taza de chocolate
mientras separa expedientes;
unos los coloca sobre una silla,
otros los deja en la mesa,
los primeros son sentencias de muerte ya decididas,
los otros sentencias de muerte por revisar.
Combina así dos placeres,
pero ¿quién sería tan tonto
para apostar a que el de tomar chocolate con panecillos
es menor que el otro?

Testimony in Spanish TV
With delight the Generalissimo wets the rolls
in his cup with chocolate
while separating files;
he places some on a chair,
leaves others on the table,
the first are death sentences already decided,
the other are death sentences to be reviewed.
This way he combines two pleasures,
but, who would be so foolish
to bet that drinking chocolate with rolls
is the lesser of the two?
