Un pájaro en lo alto,
en lo más fino
del árbol alto,
un tomeguín
nervioso, breve, tan liviano
como un soplo de luz,
está cantando
su propia levedad,
la maravilla
de su increíble ser
su pura vida
minúscula, perfecta, iluminada.

In the heights
A bird in the heights,
in the thinnest
of the tall tree,
one black bird
nervous, small, so light
like a breath of light,
is singing
its own levity,
wonder
of its amazing being
its pure life
