la hora de la rima

mi cayado sin pastos

mis ovejas sin ojos y tres patas

y yo no sé ni aprendo a tocar

flauta

pero yo fui enseñada

también para añorar el terciopelo

desde mi burda cárcel

de otomana.

at the hour of the rhyme 

my staff without pasture 

my sheep without eyes and three legs 

and I don't know and can't learn to play 

the flute 

but I was taught 

also to long for velvet 

from my rough Ottoman prison.
