La pluma y el pincel
La pluma de la ofensa es mucho más potente
que el pincel del placer.
Su roce agudo hiende el mapa
con los punzantes ángulos del recuerdo.
El pincel del placer navega en un lago interminable
entre islas que cantan entre voz de alto y soprano,
se mueve con la liviandad de un niño en cubierta,
extiende redondeadas capas de acuarela
casi transparentes que han de desteñirse mañana.
Dibuja el mapa de otro país.

The pen and the brush
The pen of the offence is much more potent
than the brush of pleasure.
Its keen rubbing cleaves the map
with sharp angles of memories.
The brush of pleasure sails over an endless lake
between islands that sing in alto and soprano voice,
it moves with the lightness of a child on deck,
extending rounded layers of watercolor
almost transparent which must fade in the morning.
It draws a map of another country.
