la manzana se pasea::the apple goes for a walk

La manzana se pasea

Ella quiere cuidar de una casa
de un jardín
casarse con un buen hombre
dejar que su cabello crezca
parir

ella recuerda
cuánto disfruta sus tardes de lecturas
sus ratos de ocios
dormir hasta tarde
Los aburrimientos pues

The apple goes for a walk

She wants to take care of a house
a garden
marry a good man
let her hair grow
give birth

One night she dreams:
She gathers the clothes from the line
prepares dinner
gets things ready for her husband
the rain comes in a hurry
her children laugh
they run all over the house
they must be bathed and fed
sees the girls sing from their seats:
"The apple strolls from the table to the dining room"

Upon awakening next morning
she recalls
how much she enjoys her afternoons reading
her moments of leisure
sleeping late
 boredom so
