Llorar a lágrima viva
 

Llorar a chorros.
Llorar la digestión.
Llorar el sueño.
Llorar ante las puertas y los puertos.
Llorar de amabilidad y de amarillo.

Abrir las canillas,
las compuertas del llanto.
Empaparnos el alma,
la camiseta.
Inundar las veredas y los paseos,
y salvarnos, a nado, de nuestro llanto.

Asistir a los cursos de antropología,
llorando.
Festejar los cumpleaños familiares,
llorando.
Atravesar el África,
llorando.

Llorar como un cacuy,
como un cocodrilo...
si es verdad
que los cacuyes y los cocodrilos
no dejan nunca de llorar.

Llorarlo todo,
pero llorarlo bien.
Llorarlo con la nariz,
con las rodillas.
Llorarlo por el ombligo,
por la boca.

Llorar de amor,
de hastío,
de alegría.
Llorar de frac,
de flato, de flacura.
Llorar improvisando,
de memoria.
¡Llorar todo el insomnio y todo el día!

Cry out in spurts.
Cry your digestion.
Cry your dreams.
Cry before doors and ports.
Cry from kindness, and from yellow.
Turn on the faucet,
open the floodgates of tears. 
To drench our soul,
our shirt.
Flood the sidewalks and paths,

 and save ourselves, by swimming, from our own tears. 
Attend Anthropology classes,
crying.

Celebrate family birthdays,

crying.Cross Africa,

crying
Cry like a cacuy bird,
like a crocodile...
If it's true,
that cacuy birds and crocodiles
never stop crying.

 
Cry for everything
But cry it out good.
Cry with your nose,
with your knees.
Cry through your belly button,
through your mouth
Cry for love,
out of disgust, 
out of happiness. 

Cry with coat tails on,

cry from flatulence, from weakness.
Cry by improvising,
from memory.
Cry all your insomnia and throughout the day!
