wishes for sons

 i wish them cramps.

i wish them a strange town

and the last tampon.

I wish them no 7-11.

i wish them one week early

and wearing a white skirt.

i wish them one week late.

later i wish them hot flashes 

and clots like you 

wouldn’t believe. let the 

flashes come when they 

meet someone special. 

let the clots come 

when they want to.

let them think they have accepted 

arrogance in the universe, 

then bring them to gynaecologists 

not unlike themselves.

  les deseo calambres.

les deseo una ciudad extraña

y el último tampón.

no les deseo un 7-11.

les deseo una semana anterior

y vestir una falda blanca.

les deseo un retraso de una semana.

después les deseo sofocos

y coágulos como tu

no creerías. deja que los

calorones vengan

cuando conozca a alguien especial.

deja que los coágulos vengan

cuando quieran.

deja que ellos piensen que han aceptado

la arrogancia en el universo,

luego llévalos a ginecólogos

no muy diferente de ellos mismos.
